Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: Overall, I’ve had an amazing time roleplaying in Prometheus. I guess upon anyone’s first glance, you’d think it was just a neo-N*zi wonderland full of degenerate critters (there definitely are some degenerate critters), BUT! when I got into it within the MOI and first saw the (at the time dubbed) “Prätor,” I was in genuine shock at how well-developed and authentic the role play was and still is. The amount of effort that went into building the setting, the organizations, and the interactions between players made everything feel far more immersive than I had expected. It wasn’t just people standing around talking; it actually felt like a living world where actions had consequences and where everyone had an opportunity to contribute something meaningful to the overall experience. To the point that I got pseudo-addicted to playing, I eventually had to take a bit of a break so I could tie up some loose ends with getting my career on track, which I’m happy to say I’ve now completed. Even while I was away, I still found myself thinking about the server, the people I had met, and the stories that were unfolding. That says a lot about the quality of the community and the environment that’s been created here. Now that I’ve returned, I’m looking to help out wherever I can and hopefully make the roleplay experience even better for newcomers looking for a solid social-political roleplay experience. I enjoy helping people learn systems, answering questions, and contributing to an atmosphere where players can immerse themselves without feeling lost or overwhelmed. I was a senior mod here on prom before I was demoted for Abuse of Power which is true. I decided to use my staff abilities irresponsibly and I was young and stupid. I regret it severely, but I've improved over the last year and a half and something like that won't ever happen again. I was also a Super Admin on a DarkRP called Digital Delta Gaming and pretty much ran most day to day stuff including managing staff and overseeing forums as well. I truly am remorseful and really would like to become a member of the community once more. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I Believe I'd be a great addition to the staff team because my experience I've built over the years I was a Super Administrator on a very active server with a player base that was pretty similar to DarkRP so there were always plenty of minges and tickets to deal with During my time there I handled almost 4000 sits which was the most any staff member had ever completed on DDG Because of that I'm very comfortable dealing with all kinds of situations and players and I know how to stay calm fair and professional when handling staff sits I also have over 2800 hours on Garry's Mod which shows that I'm here for the long haul and genuinely enjoy playing the game. Outside of GMod I worked as a car salesman for a couple of years which helped me improve my communication skills and taught me how to deal with all kinds of personalities and situations I think those skills transfer really well into being a staff member I'm also a donator with a paid character which shows that I'm committed to supporting the server and want to see it continue to grow and succeed I've always had an interest in World War II and the more I learn about it the more I enjoy playing on a server based around that setting I also have a lot of free time so I'm usually on for at least a couple of hours every day and sometimes even longer which means I can help keep tickets from piling up and make sure players get help quickly Overall I think I'd make a solid staff member because of my previous experience my people skills my activity and my passion for both Garry's Mod and this server I genuinely want to help the community and do my part to keep the server running strong for as long as possible I have a lot of ideas I think will improve the roleplay around me not only as a staff member but as a roleplayer. As a moderator I understand I need to prove that I am reliable and willing to put in the effort if I want to move up through the staff team as well as the community. I mean totally fair, I agree. I raise my gun, he raises his, and I would've been the one gunned down, and they could be the one banned. Maybe bad judgement call then. He gun-bashes me, we raise our guns, in my mind I'm like dang this guy is about to gun me down because he thinks I want to gun him down. In my mind, fear in-game has always been about do I think this guy is going to kill me, and in that moment I thought he was gonna kill me. I didn't go gunning in the streets, I put down the individual threat and then retreated inside because I value my characters life. To say I don't want to RP isn't totally fair. I mean I've been playing seriously in the KG all week. Guarded the trial today. I'm not a fresh Grenadier with a Kar98 and a bloodlust. Again, no POs, have been a rule follower. Maybe bad judgement call on this one, so I accept that. Just wanted to come onto the forums and give my piece as I wasn't afforded that opportunity in game. If UA thinks a week is fair, that's is okay by me, I apologize. Just wanted to explain my side and rationale behind it. Personally though, I think a week is excessive. I wouldn't be making the appeal if I didn't genuinely think I was in the right during that situation. The ban came as a surprise to me.

Just because someone bashed you doesn't mean the situation calls for a gun fight. Taking the UA Reminder as completely black and white, or many of the rules as black and white, is being intentionally obtuse. Bashing =/= shooting someone. Nor does it equal lethal force. Punching someone can also be considered the intiation of a fight, but if two generals getting upset in a meeting and start trading blows and one of their guards just gun them down, that guard is getting absolutely decimated in a ban. Context is widly important. As I have said ad nauseam, contextualize! I am told there were 15~ odd people in the situation you were in, and everyone has told me nothing in the situation required a gun fight to occur. Starting random gun fights because you don't want to RP (arrest, yelling, reports, etc.) really isn't our problem.

And when he was arrested, HE WAS NOT PLACED IN CUFFS EITHER, I was not placed in cuffs because I did not have any PCO's on me or questioning orders due to the fact I AM A ROSTERED WARPLANNER. They have also already dossiered me 600 times as you know. So, I would love to know where you got this information from that is an absolute lie.

Hallo, Like I said, I really didn't mean for this to happen. I tried to arrest him, but I was the only one that apparently cared to do so even though he disregarded direct orders from multiple people, including my Oberstleutnant. I told him many times to stop doing what he was doing, but he completely ignored me to further insult the MOI. My intentions were to stop the tension that was happening at the gate. I know that wasn't the best idea, but with no ability to arrest him, I just simply wanted him to be gone from the gate at that moment and maby manage to arrest him somewhere else or at a different time. But I must also say that I'm not the first person to cause a gunfight like this, with the difference that I really did want to do this. I've constantly seen people escalating those situations with gunfights, and they are 100% not banned for that.

Hello, I am the staff member who banned you, and the original person you shot. However, this was not a simple "RDM", this shooting initiated a mass gunfight between the Military, and Ministry of Interior to break out in front of the gate. Furthermore, that individual who was hitting the gate, was doing it for an ongoing period of time before you went to shoot him. He did not pose an immediate threat, nor did he ensue you to pull out a firearm and attempt to kill him. After the situation occurred, I was also directed by another member of the Staff team to ban you as well. Lastly, for further reference, there are always other ways to stop someone from hitting something rather than just going to shoot them, please remember this for future reference and refer to the rules or any member of the Prometheus staff team if you would have any questions.

You were PKed under the NHC order guideline. Your NHC provided sufficient evidence that you were working with an opposing faction. You then were killed by your superior which is acceptable in the majority of cases. The same way a GO can request a PK on a Leutnant etc. I must note that you did not roleplay properly during this interaction. You said out loud multiple times that it was not a valid PK and that you could not be pked over voice chat in roleplay which was very gay. You were subsequently shot. You were then scolded on how your actions were NITRP and could have been banned. Despite you trying to spoil this situation with your lack of roleplay I decided to go forward with the PK. Even if you disagree with the roleplay occuring you do not get to decide that it is invalid and go out of character. The proper course of action is to either make an appeal (pks) or contact a member of staff if you think it was fail rp.

He was NHC order PK'ed by myself, for (after asking to transfer) being outed as a rat by the Konteradmiral. He had lured the Konteradmiral into a meeting at the cafe, where 10 members of the National Security Bureau burst out and arrested the admiral, with Burkhart not being placed in cuffs at all. This was also just after being meta-promoted by myself to Kommodore, which is also very scummy.

I really don't understand why I went straight to a PK on my character I am at a loss. (also, sorry Mom's mom for when I was shot, I acted out of RP and asked said that it was an invalid PK, I am truly sorry for that outburst) Why should you be un-PK'd?: I feel like that I should not be PK'd just for wanting to transfer out of the Marines and the military, I would have taken a demotion or anything, but they decided to PK me.
