Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I am someone who is receptive to feedback in a constructive manner and I am continually trying to evolve as a person. In applying for a position on the staff team, I hope to support my community in the area of ticket management and ensure all players enjoy a seamless in-game role-play experience. Because I have prior experience serving with a Gmod staffing team, I feel that would make me an excellent addition to the current team. I believe my commitment to helping out and my experience in both would be valuable to our community and an inviting addition to our current staff team. In relation to the rules, I am aware of what they are and I have some familiarity with them from reading over many times. Therefore, if I needed to enforce any rules, I would be doing so for educational purposes as well as punishment. While I certainly support punishing players for violating rules, that is only a small part of the equation. I also want to educate players on why the rules are there and to give context surrounding their meaning. Additionally, I want to welcome new players into our community by helping them to understand how the server is set up and how it works, while encouraging them to role-play rather than speed run whenever they log on. Finally, I am a very forgiving person and I try to consider all the circumstances surrounding a situation I am a believer in using punishment as a last resort when the individual has a chance to learn from their mistakes. Because of this, it has been months since I have been issued an infraction or banned for anything on any of my accounts. [150 Words or more]: My duties and responsibilities as part of the staff team are to ensure the members of Prometheus Networks are holding true to the rules for proper roleplay experiences to ensue. Rules shouldn't be like an iron fist; if someone has a question or made a genuine mistake, you need to educate them on where they made the mistake. You speak for the community, so you should be a good example. Show respect, patience, and tolerance when working with tickets, answering questions, and helping players who may need clarification on something. Good communication is about empathy. As mentioned above, I'd need to be more than sure when it came time to enforce rules, not only in punishing players but teaching them, letting them overall know the rules, describing and clarifying every rule if need be. -1 Shooting in a courtroom full of judges and general-ranking personnel with ARMED guards, even if you do claim it was for "RP" reasons, would have immediately had you shot with no trial anyways if you were arrested. Other than that, what you did was just blatant failrp. Note: I was one of the Judges that were there.

Browniemeister was the banning staff member. Maybe dont talk about spongebob squarepants during a serious dispute in the street..... I was present in this situation and it breaks down the rp enviornment.

Hi @Dripstein, Thank you for taking the time to make a ban appeal. For context of the situation, everyone involved was in the process of vacating the court room in an attempt to serve an arrest warrant. Several KG, NSB, State officials, etc. were present (practically the entire server in the vicinity) and you decided to open fire while standing above us all on the Judge's panel. Needless to say, you died extremely quickly as everyone turned around to see who was attempting to commit mass murder. I am not too sure why you thought a hoard of armed guards would take the time to arrest someone who is actively firing their weapon in a court room. Your claim of shooting into the air is valid, as damage logs show you did not harm anyone, but these are the types of situations that result in mass casualty gunfights that ruin RP. As I was the banning staff member, another UA will be providing verdict on this appeal.

I did not kill anyone or deal damage to anyone I Intentionally shot in the air so that i wouldn't hit anyone while screaming my goal was to cause a scene so that I could be arrested as a police officer and go on trial in front of all the important people in the room. I didn't know that RPing to get arrested would land me a ban I deliberately made sure not till kill anyone and RDM and ruin everyone else's RP experience so that I could do be arrested and be a part of a realistic RP. I apologize if this was not allowed and will just not do it next time or find another way to get myself arrested. Whilst I lack Staff experience, I'd like to think I make up for with my experience within the actual community of Prometheus allowing me to see how the community functions on a deeper level, helping me gain a relatively strong understanding of roleplay standards and the types of issues which may commonly arise. I have also consistently roleplayed on the server for around a year and a half while being consistently active in a multitude of different command positions, allowing me to gain more than enough experience within the community and prove consistent in game activity. You are also expected to be assisting players, especially newer players ensuring all questions are answered and rules clarified wherever and whenever needed. I did this to create a small mini-event for the Imperial Guard. In the process, I impulsively killed a member of the Imperial Guard, which was counted as RDM (), something I find questionable since this person saw me arresting the general and even ran in my direction. I was then shot on my way to the ICC After i got shot, the general entered the ICC base and arrested me after my death, meaning I initially died due to RDM from the Imperial Guard. The NLR (New Life Rule didn't apply, and the staff member completely ignored it. After the incident, I immediately submitted a ticket to the staff member, apologizing for the RDM and requesting a staff meeting. The staff member ignored this as well and banned me out without a sit to clarify everything. I was roleplaying the entire time, and the staff member is banning me for "NITRP",which I also find questionable, because i was trying to clarify my misstake, he was ignoring everything, and then i get NITRP, the staff did not even heared my side. I'm sorry if I really did RDMd the person, but five days for something where I was trying to set up an RP scenario with people actively participating seems excessive. I mean, if we keep banning people for things like this, the RP will suffer. Sure, it's different if you ban someone for RDM when it was without context, but in my case, there was some context, which is why I find the five-day ban unjustified. So, the fact that I was killed in the RP scenario—they could have just used the video to PK me—but to get a five-day ban for creating a RP scenario is excessive. The fact that the staff and General ignored the other facts, like the NLR ( and that the staff also ignored it is more than questionable. I haven't had a record for a rule violation in over a year. I would also like to complain about a case involving the moderator @MomsMom : A few days ago, I was writing advertisements with another character, in a roleplay context, that we would arrest the general. When my character was then PKd and I was back on my main character, he told all the members of the Imperial Guard that it was me who wrote those advertisements with my other character. He brought the stuff he know on OOC in IC, so the otherones knew stuff they never would know, however, was that he publicly humiliated me, and as a result, I was ostracized by my faction because of this staff member.
