Innenminister Matteo Götzinger

The job this character holds is that of leading the Interior Ministry and the German Police, putting him in charge of the National Security Bureau, the State Police, and the apparatus of the MOI. The Interior Minister is one of the National High Command members of the Empire, making him responsible for upholding the status quo of MOI v Military which the server is based on. It is a role which requires a heavy amount of politics and delegation, and shapes the entire course of the server.

A former cartel command member turned loyal Kaisergarde, Heyo Grollius (No relation) obeys orders, stands guard, and looks pretty.

How long have you been roleplaying?:

Prometheus is the primary server I have roleplayed on in GMOD, as it is the only one that has really appealed to me with a serious base but enough room for fun at the same time. I have been playing for years by now, probably three years? Give or take, I can't remember exactly when I logged on first, and I was very young when I first joined.

Have you received any infractions i.e Notes/Bans? If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?:

Yes, I have received a lot of infractions, three major bans and the rest were smaller or notes. My last infraction was a little under a year ago, which was a two day ban for RDM. Ever since then I have not received so much as a note, nor do I ever again intend to give cause for my ban. I have viewed the server a lot more seriously recently than I did before, when I was honestly a bit too unserious. I have reflected on the mistakes I have made since then, and I have never repeated them.

Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?:

I have played Prometheus for a very, very long time, since I was a young teenager. I have made a lot of mistakes on the server, and have even been permanently banned previously, but where another server may have shunned me and permanently removed me, snubbing their nose at me as a trouble player, the UA and staff teams have consistently given me a second, third, fourth chance. And instead of continuing the same way I had been acting, I changed my behaviour and attitude. It has been a year since my last warn or ban on Prometheus, and ever since then I have risen to multiple GO positions, and even my current position of NHC. All this is to say, I think the Prometheus staff team is special in the way it prioritizes community over punishment. The goal of the staff team always seems to be to integrate players, not ban them. Many times have people who have been Perma'd or community exiled been allowed to return, many times have PKs done by UA members been overturned because the person apologised for some stupid act and wanted their character back, instead of throwing the book at them.

I believe I will prove myself to be a dedicated member of staff if my application is accepted, somebody who follows the spirit of the gamemode and the spirit of the rules rather than acting like a robot and trying to issue as high of a punishment as I can, because I feel as if that is what the staff team needs, and what it may lack from some of the members of it who are newer to Prometheus and 1941RP as a whole, it can really dissuade somebody if they are banned for something they didn't know about prior, but most staff members seem to follow this formula. Beyond my personal motivations and the effort I am willing to put in, I think my track record as an active member of the server, be it in politics, intelligence, manpower, or otherwise goes to show that I am sufficiently adept in how the server functions and the nuances of it, both in situations regarding PKs and those regarding punitive action.  

I want to do more to help out with the server, I am European and it would be nice to have more staff members online during "minge hours" because the amount of people who lose guns and just never get compensated or the recruitment that has to be stalled for later because nobody is around to set them up in the faction is very unfortunate. Also, I'd like to add, I am not the vindictive type, nor do I hold grudges. I will be perfectly able to fulfil the role without any bias coming through in my decision making, but I would also be capable of allowing somebody else to take a situation which may result in my personal bias.

What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words?:

The staff team exists to make the server a more fun experience for all of the other players. Whilst most people know a moderator as the person who shows up when they do @rdm, in reality the moderation team carries the entire server on its shoulders. It is responsible for permanent kills and moderative action, yes, but it is also responsible for teaching newer players how the game works; for providing answers to different questions people may have about more a interpretive side of the rules. With that aside, I suppose the textbook answer to the duties of the staff team would be the enforcement of server rules. A vast majority of the cases staff members are seen in are banning minges for RDM, dealing with VDM, and all sorts of lower offences. However, the enforcement of metagaming rules are just as important; keeping the server fair for all players by ensuring nobody acts in such a way which cheats the roleplay. Overall, They keep the server a safe and enjoyable place to play.
