Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I have a fair amount of experience in server moderation, and I'd say I have a fair grasp of what it entails. I try to deal with people fairly, and I don't have any issues of giving respect where due. I have very little difficulty controlling myself and maintaining a professional demeanor. I pride myself on a job well-done, and seek to accomplish any tasks assigned or taken up to the best of my abilities. I'm also a rather laid-back guy, and I don't mind chatting and having a good time with fellow server / staff members. Roleplay should be fun, and the role of moderation is to ensure a fair and balanced experience for all of our guests. While I remain with this community, I look forward to being a productive member of both the staff team and the community in good standing. [150 Words or more]: The duties of a moderation team member would be to take tickets, respond to calls, and do whatever tasks appropriate for the rank I hold. I would assume this includes basic moderation duties such as taking tickets, giving notes, that sort of thing. The duties of moderation are fairly ubiquitous across servers I've found, so I expect much of the same that I've taken up in the past. The particulars of the job I am sure will be explained to me if / when I am accepted, but I have no difficulty in believing that this is within my wheelhouse. Back on topic, the duty of a member of the moderation team is to develop and maintain a fun, productive, and enjoyable roleplay environment for the community we serve. I was a Staff member on a couple of other servers and also on Prometheus Networks I joined the staff team in September 2024 and left in December 2025, I was an Administrator. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: The main reason you should accept my application and allow me to join your staff team is that I'm open to criticism and like trying to improve myself in any way that I possibly can. I want to join the staff team to help the community out and help take tickets so that roleplay can continue with minimal interruption. I would be a good member of staff because I'm an active member of the community who will be helping take tickets during peak hours, and this, in my eyes, can only benefit the community. I believe that I would be a great addition to the staff because I’ve been larping on Prometheus for years now, and I’ve got a great understanding of the rules and how things work. I have also been a member of the Staff team for a long duration, during which I learned even more about the server. I personally believe that I was a decent staff member, I genuinely enjoy being a part of this community, and I love doing staff work on the server, in which I feel that I could definitely do it again. I believe that I can make fair decisions. I would be more than confident in enforcing the rules when needed, not just to punish players but to educate them and help them overall understand the rules, and provide explanation and context for each rule if needed. I want to help newer players understand the structure of the server and how it works and get them to at least try to roleplay within the server instead of just ban speed running every time they log onto the server. [150 Words or more]: The responsibilities of a staff member are to take tickets and do sits and help the individuals you also need to fulfill the quota and handle stuff like Respawning someone or RDM, NLR, NITRP and Civ Pk´s and to whitelist people into their factions, to consider its one of the main task or better say the main task. It's also important to handle conflicts and to de-escalate them if they interrupt the RP. It's also Important to be Professional and respectful because you represent Prometheus Network, they should always act for the best interest of the players, and they need to listen to what the higher ranking staff members are telling them and to obey it. They also should follow the chain of command, they also have to obey the rules. They are also responsible to improve relations with the players and should not insult them or discriminate against them in any way. And they should also help players to understand the guidelines more and their actions.

I use him mostly as my main MOI character, guarding, investigating, that sort of thing. At the moment, he’s serving in the Order Knights guard group, working his way up to a CO, building up his resume a little more. Kommodore Johann Clive; One of my more well known characters. Being my first ever character, he’s been serving the Naval side of the server ever since I started playing. In game, he has been a character of controversy due to his unorthodox tactics and strategies. One of those strategies got him temporarily exiled to another city. Since returning, Clive has assumed the role of Deputy Chief of Warplanning, along with being the de-facto chief of the navy with his title of State Secretary of the Navy. He doesn’t do much in the city, due to not having much of a purpose other than administration and fleet management, but I’ve been brainstorming ways to make him more involved. Adjutant Geist von Weisspfau; Another infamous character, probably for all the wrong reasons, Geist serves as an aide for the Hand of the Emperor, though hasn’t been that active as of late. His main duties involved being a Crown Liaison to the Household Division, making sure to be there for the Kaisergarde if they ever needed anything from the Royal Household, but has since has been assigned to be a Liaison to the party. I don’t play him very often, since the position was more miscellaneous than contributing much to a scenario. Its another role I wanna work on being more involved in. How long have you been roleplaying?: -Since late 2023-ish, started out of curiosity, stayed for the crazy experiences and friends made. Have you received any infractions i.e Notes/Bans? If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?: -2 RDM Notes; 1 from April of 2025, the other from April 2024. I can’t remember the specifics but it was most likely from having a bad trigger finger. Since then, I’ve had better discipline. Guess April wasn’t my month. -1 Ban for LTARP; This was way back when I started playing in 2023, simply because I had to leave the situation, but they didn’t believe me, since I was in a detained state. I left anyway since I legitimately had to leave the house at that moment, and I just decided to take it on the chin. Since then, I’ve had better time management. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: -I feel like I have a more down to earth way of dealing with situations, where, being a regular player for so long, I can relate to players who may have been wronged, had a rule broken, etc. I also believe that being part of the staff team, whether long or short term, will provide a learning experience from players who have been doing this WAY longer than I have. I’ve already branched out to other staff members, friend groups, etc. But I’ve always had that curiosity of wondering what the other side of the story, or the side outside of roleplay. I’ll always try to make quota, though my IRL schedule requires me to be flexible at a moment's notice. As of now I'm not active 1 day out of the week, but I usually have full weekends off. I’ve always seen myself as fair, playing devil's advocate more often than not. Like for example, I’ll be serious when the situation requires it, but like to stay casual most of the time. With that attitude I can connect better with the average player, both minge or legitimate. I’m well versed in the rules and what should apply in a punishment for said rules. I can be down to earth and help anyone also more than happy to assist in anyone also wanting to join the staff team. This server is fun, once you get through the process of getting into a faction, it becomes really fun! I want to be on call to help expedite the process of getting a new player into the server, which has always been a problem. With me joining the staff team I wish to assist with that bottleneck. That means how I act and how I interact with others is very important. This is important especially when having to deal with in-game disputes, players who deliberately try to ruin roleplay, or just someone asking a staff related question. Being staff is not just game side moderation, but also on the community discord and forums, ensuring the rules are being properly observed. It's a responsibility to keep a level head during all confrontations, and make sure the situation is resolved fairly and unbiased. It’s also good as a staff member to know your limits as well, and not be afraid to ask help from other members of staff, along with those who are higher rank. With said power, its a top responsibility to hold myself accountable as a player as well, not using staff powers every time something doesn’t go to plan for example. Note: Thanks for reading! Character's name & rank: Ragnar Hartman / Chiefinspektor / KAPO Guard Chief SteamID (STEAM_0:X:XXX): https://steamcommunity.com/id/Budziie/ Staff member who issued the PK (if you know): Sharp Explain why you were PK'd: At the time of the incident, Ragnar Hartman was off duty in practice, as there were no ministers available for me to guard until later in the evening, while i was in uniform i was simply in the casino passing time and placing bets out of boredom, not actively neglecting an assigned responsibility. An individual who i believe was a NSB, approached and took a photo of my character gambling, He then told me i could leave or be arrested, i began complying and leaving the area. However from my perspective OOC i was not aware that he was escalating the situation further or issuing a clear arrest command with a weapon drawn, i did not hear or process any countdown or immediate threat before i was shot in the back of the head. Because of that i did not feel i was intentionally violating FEAR RP. Why should you be un-PK'd?: The justification for the PK was based on FearRP, But i believe this was a misunderstanding rather than intentional non compliance. From my point of view, i was actively complying by leaving and was not given clear or recognizable time of opportunity to respond to a lethal threat. additionally, i would like to raid a Broader concern. There has been a pattern of my character, and Kapital Polize members being placed under frequent investigations or targeted for severe punishments. I have been told indirectly that my character was being targeted by the NSB for a PK. while i fully understand that conflict and enforcement are apart of roleplay, it has begun to feel one sided and discouraging not to me but mainly towards all my KAPO to the point they dont even wanna stay in KAPO I take pride in how i conduct myself on the server, i consistently remain Calm, respectful , and focused on contributing positively to the roleplay environment, As Chief of the Kapital Polize, i aim to lead responsibly and support both my faction and the overall server experience. Outside of the game, I am in the military, and i strongly value structure, fairness, and checks and balances those are principles i try to bring into my roleplay as well. This was my first offense of this nature, and i truly believe the situation could have been handled with lesser punishment, such as a temporary ban or warning rather then a permanent charecter kill. I am respectfully requesting that the administration reconsider this PK. i would greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue playing Ragnar Hartman and contributing to the server in a posistive and constructive way.
