Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I believe I would be a good addition to the Prometheus staff team because of the combination of my past experience, as well as I would like to be a positive part of Prometheus. Lately Prometheus has been a big part of my schedule. I have gotten on everyday to play but also interact with everyone as I have been appreciating the atmosphere and unique roleplay. With the upcoming release of the new game mode of Man in the High Castle Roleplay, I think it would be the perfect opportunity for me to help set up new players and keep things going smoothly when there is an influx of tickets. [150 Words or more]: As a staff member there might be many things you will have to do, here are some of my general objectives: General Duties General duties of being a staff member include taking sits, Punishing players, changing models and faction transfers, and moderating Roleplay situations so that no one is breaking the rules. Handing out punishments for players who are breaking the rules are important, but there can be nuance to certain situations. When there is someone who is RDMing. It is usually a clear and cut case. But when someone is being accused of breaking the rules during an important and complicated roleplay scenario, it's important that staff take their time with it. This usually means collecting Recorded gameplay, speaking to both parties or witnesses, and checking logs, then deliberating. At the end of the day it's important to be 100% unbiased and rule just from the evidence that is being presented Decorum and Professionalism Decorum and Professionalism is particularly important. What the word decorum means to me is how someone carries themselves day to day and how they are perceived. When being professional with how you interact with players it’s important to stay very calm. As well as speaking clearly and formally, and not being emotional and not taking the situation personally. Professionalism can also be something as simple as writing with proper syntax and grammar or pronouncing words correctly. Being A role model As a Staff member, you are constantly a role model to players. It's important to behave the same way you would want a player to behave, as well as treat players the same way you would like to be treated. This means building a reputation of being a fair staff member, and someone who players want to have their ticket taken is important too.

Description of the idea: Short Description of the Idea of integrating a Stock Market A fully functional stock market with options on buying selling, that changes the values at random, or maybe you could even register if you have a Business ID your own company and pay a fee your company to go public and have it on the stock market. The stock market as a entity could managed by the state or some other government agency. It could open and close like IRL at certain times, you could try to put in events that admins can control to create a huge total stock crash plunging the market into the ground and giving something to the governments finance offices to heavy worry about. Why should this be added?: Creates opportunity's for players to open Stock Firms, You could have a chance at people becoming stock brokers wolf of wallstreet style become rich of stock then going to start their own business. Gives good roleplay to people who are in the business sector allowing them to act like stuck up stock brokers if they make it big and own their own firm Gives the opportunity for people to invest in businesses like giving out money since the company's stock is good, or it could act as a alternative form of currency payment. Give jobs to the government for employing people to manage it, and also more stuff for finance offices to do if the stock crashes. The style of a stock market helps a lot to the vibe of being in NYC a place famous for the stock exchange. Government agency's could also invested and it could be a small sources of revenue flow for them maybe they could even hire a external consultant to manage their stocks. Maybe those who are top executives or accountants could do fraud and it would give something for BFI to investigate and the local police to act on. What negatives could this have?: Problem that's the biggest is most likely that its quite complicated to program. Could not be fun if the stocks are slow and take a bit to build or lose money. If improperly managed during a crisis event likes its crash it could tank several business although this on its own is not directly a negative thing. Additional information:

+1 In moderation, this could be a very great idea. Based off of diverges civilian customization, would be a whole lot more to port that onto the models for everything. Could make photos for intel more useful as the faces would be somewhat-more unique rather than a crowd of Male 09's. Lots of complications of course but definitely could add a different atmosphere. Sidenote, the female models were always abused which was one of the main reasons they were removed, and also because people are just outright stupid. So I don't personally see female models returning, but with modification, may be possible. We'll just have to see! for now, -1 from me to the Female models until I hear a good reason why they would be helpful.

Hello, I was the staff member who PK'd your character. The reason for your character being killed was because you LTARP'd (Leaving To Avoid Roleplay). Given that you were just removed from a ban, and immediately upon rejoining the server repeated the same action, it’s clear there may be some confusion regarding the rules. A huge responsibility is responding to a ticket as soon as possible. Another duty of a staff member is observing overall out-of-character situations. +1 Should be implemented simply, not too gamey, not too manual. There are right ways and wrong ways. Here's my idea, I thought about it since I like this idea a lot and would make sense for New York City, the home of the NYSE, which may or may not still exist. Perhaps it does, under new management of course. I suspect the Germans would want to take advantage of American Capitalism rather than bring it down. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think this is a good way to do it: You'd have a bunch of NPC companies (Krupp Stahl, Reichsbahn, etc.) whose prices move on their own with some randomness so the market always feels alive, but when players buy or sell it actually pushes the price up or down. Player owned businesses could pay a fee to go public and list their company, and their stock price gets affected by earnings reports they file (which they can fake, giving the State something to investigate). All trading happens physically at terminals inside the stock exchange or at brokerage offices, no menus or HUD stuff (or you CAN use menus/HUD stuff), keeps it in the RP. Brokers would be a flagged role (class, flagged role, there are many ways to do this) that trades on behalf of clients for a commission (or just steals their money). Admins get simple commands to trigger crashes, booms, or scandals tied to server events. Every trade gets logged so insider trading and manipulation are possible but detectable, making them real RP crimes instead of blocked mechanics. Basically I don't want it to be entirely reliant on Google Docs or entirely reliant on game code. A balance should be struck, and can be!

Different model sizes, especially bigger ones as we will be roleplaying as Americans (though a coked up skinny queen would be awesome) 2. Yeah so I definitely heard you do it. But 3 days is a bit much so we can just remove it since it's already been a while, it was just that you were interrupting a high importance event on a civilian character with a NITRP ban already.

There were other political parties at on point. It died out after a while I think end of 23 early 24 was when they did that

i dont see why they would add this over the current system, i personally like arc9 alot more but you really havent given ANY reason as to why it'd actually be better within the server over the current system. The current system works fine and has damage values aswell as crippling you when being shot in the leg. Why would they go through all that effort to change to arc9 because 'you like it' -1 from me dawg

Invalid. The reported staff member didn't use OOC language in IC chat, and even if they did that isn't meta gaming its just poor RP - and invalidates any sort of PK that could have happened. Also if you continue to harass staff members in DM's because you don't get an instant response from us you will be banned from making support tickets and appeals.

Neutral-ish I like the idea of resistance sabotage but then again this should be heavily monitored and approved by UA+ to prevent it from becoming too chaotic.

I like this idea and I think it can even be expanded to be just bombs in general that you can plant in cars, buildings, etc. To mitigate constant bombings just make it so its really expensive or hard to obtain. Maybe you have to obtain various components from the black market and then build it or something like that, not something someone can create by themselves or quickly.

This seems like something that would be too big to operate. A stock market implies that there would have to be multiple companies that exist simultaneously and are ready to compete. Sure, the stock market itself would influence people to begin making their own companies, but the server seems incapable of holding live businesses for more than a couple weeks (there are outliers to this).
