Good kid at the end of the day. But for context, you didn't only leave the server to avoid roleplay (LTARP). You also left all of the discords beforehand. Yes, you can detain players while aiming your gun, this can be done through F1 -> Inventory, right clicking on restraints and clicking use. The Obergrenadier was surrounded by Pratorian guards and was being detained as ordered yet you were the one who started shooting and thus resulted in a mass casualty gunfight. Due to your behavior in the discord tickets, mass DMing our UA members about the various situations you have found yourself in, etc. I do not believe you are a good fit for our community. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I believe I would be a good addition to the Prometheus staff team because of the combination of my past experience, as well as I would like to be a positive part of Prometheus. Lately Prometheus has been a big part of my schedule. I have gotten on everyday to play but also interact with everyone as I have been appreciating the atmosphere and unique roleplay. With the upcoming release of the new game mode of Man in the High Castle Roleplay, I think it would be the perfect opportunity for me to help set up new players and keep things going smoothly when there is an influx of tickets. Taking on more responsibilities would definitely be something I am interested in. I have really enjoyed running the Feldjagers and I have been really proud of what we have built and been able to do, as we have had some great numbers lately. As well as built a great CO corp. I think taking the next step and becoming a moderator would mean I can contribute to the server more. I am also someone who likes to stay organized, be professional and I also work well with others. For me, conducting myself in a professional manner is very important. This means making sure I have a good reputation and not involving myself in situations that are unbecoming. I also think generally staying organized, when it comes to sits and my other staff duties are a large part of being effective. I stay organised through making myself day to day or weekly schedules, as well as taking notes of what is happening, like player names or previous verbal warnings. I have had a lot of experience working with different kinds of people in a work setting and making sure that everyone gets along is one of my strong suits. What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: As a staff member there might be many things you will have to do, here are some of my general objectives: General Duties General duties of being a staff member include taking sits, Punishing players, changing models and faction transfers, and moderating Roleplay situations so that no one is breaking the rules. Handing out punishments for players who are breaking the rules are important, but there can be nuance to certain situations. When there is someone who is RDMing. It is usually a clear and cut case. But when someone is being accused of breaking the rules during an important and complicated roleplay scenario, it's important that staff take their time with it. This usually means collecting Recorded gameplay, speaking to both parties or witnesses, and checking logs, then deliberating. At the end of the day it's important to be 100% unbiased and rule just from the evidence that is being presented Decorum and Professionalism Decorum and Professionalism is particularly important. What the word decorum means to me is how someone carries themselves day to day and how they are perceived. When being professional with how you interact with players it’s important to stay very calm. As well as speaking clearly and formally, and not being emotional and not taking the situation personally. Professionalism can also be something as simple as writing with proper syntax and grammar or pronouncing words correctly. Being A role model As a Staff member, you are constantly a role model to players. It's important to behave the same way you would want a player to behave, as well as treat players the same way you would like to be treated. This means building a reputation of being a fair staff member, and someone who players want to have their ticket taken is important too.

Description of the idea: Short Description of the Idea of integrating a Stock Market A fully functional stock market with options on buying selling, that changes the values at random, or maybe you could even register if you have a Business ID your own company and pay a fee your company to go public and have it on the stock market. The stock market as a entity could managed by the state or some other government agency. It could open and close like IRL at certain times, you could try to put in events that admins can control to create a huge total stock crash plunging the market into the ground and giving something to the governments finance offices to heavy worry about. Why should this be added?: Creates opportunity's for players to open Stock Firms, You could have a chance at people becoming stock brokers wolf of wallstreet style become rich of stock then going to start their own business. Gives good roleplay to people who are in the business sector allowing them to act like stuck up stock brokers if they make it big and own their own firm Gives the opportunity for people to invest in businesses like giving out money since the company's stock is good, or it could act as a alternative form of currency payment. Give jobs to the government for employing people to manage it, and also more stuff for finance offices to do if the stock crashes. The style of a stock market helps a lot to the vibe of being in NYC a place famous for the stock exchange. Government agency's could also invested and it could be a small sources of revenue flow for them maybe they could even hire a external consultant to manage their stocks. Maybe those who are top executives or accountants could do fraud and it would give something for BFI to investigate and the local police to act on. What negatives could this have?: Problem that's the biggest is most likely that its quite complicated to program. Could not be fun if the stocks are slow and take a bit to build or lose money. If improperly managed during a crisis event likes its crash it could tank several business although this on its own is not directly a negative thing. Additional information:

+1 In moderation, this could be a very great idea. Based off of diverges civilian customization, would be a whole lot more to port that onto the models for everything. Could make photos for intel more useful as the faces would be somewhat-more unique rather than a crowd of Male 09's. Lots of complications of course but definitely could add a different atmosphere. Sidenote, the female models were always abused which was one of the main reasons they were removed, and also because people are just outright stupid. So I don't personally see female models returning, but with modification, may be possible. We'll just have to see! for now, -1 from me to the Female models until I hear a good reason why they would be helpful.

Hello, I was the staff member who PK'd your character. The reason for your character being killed was because you LTARP'd (Leaving To Avoid Roleplay). Given that you were just removed from a ban, and immediately upon rejoining the server repeated the same action, it’s clear there may be some confusion regarding the rules. As such, the following clarification is provided: - As an example, if you are detained, and you leave to avoid being discharged or trialed, that would result in a ban because you are leaving to avoid roleplay/punishment (LTARP). You have to roleplay the situation out as your character, even if it means that your character is demoted, discharged, or killed. Invalid. The reported staff member didn't use OOC language in IC chat, and even if they did that isn't meta gaming its just poor RP - and invalidates any sort of PK that could have happened. I am a very good speaker and people person. I am very active on the server and feel like I could offer a lot of support with the admins. I have taken on plenty of responsibility within the Feldjagers and have handled it with haste and accuracy, and feel that I am ready for more responsibility with joining the staff team. Also, I am very willing to learn new things. I am a quick learner and retain information fast. Also, I am very open to constructive criticism. [150 Words or more]: First, a big duty of becoming a staff member is helping players during certain situations. When a player makes a ticket, they need the help as soon as possible. A huge responsibility is responding to a ticket as soon as possible. If a player needs someone PK’d or just quickly needs a promotion done, if I take too long on responding to the ticket the situation may be missed. Another duty of a staff member is observing overall out-of-character situations. We have to make sure everyone is roleplaying correctly as well as abiding by global rules.This situation also includes the chat. From experience, I have seen many rules broken in the chat whether that be metagame in the OOC or banned language in the general chat. I understand that this needs to be closely watched over and fixed immediately once the problem happens. Aside from just handing out bans or PK’s, there are certain situations that require more hands-on work. If you pull someone into a sit and they are making claims on someone during a complicated roleplay scenario, it takes more digging. You will have to check logs and clips to come up with a clear and concise answer to the accusation.

@zruzxe, I warned you in your last appeal that any further infractions will see to another permanent ban with little chance of appeal. So they will be tied, unable to move on their own. Blindfolded, now they can't even see. Then they'll be gagged, so they can't talk. Yeah, this sounds like a super fun experience for a player. Their monitor might as well just be off, there is zero purpose to that person continuing to play.

To put aside the differences and to cooperate under one name, one group, one structure. Such a group that would oppose anything and everything while at the same time doing offers with those they oppose the day later. +1 Should be implemented simply, not too gamey, not too manual. There are right ways and wrong ways. Here's my idea, I thought about it since I like this idea a lot and would make sense for New York City, the home of the NYSE, which may or may not still exist. Perhaps it does, under new management of course. I suspect the Germans would want to take advantage of American Capitalism rather than bring it down. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think this is a good way to do it: You'd have a bunch of NPC companies (Krupp Stahl, Reichsbahn, etc.) whose prices move on their own with some randomness so the market always feels alive, but when players buy or sell it actually pushes the price up or down. Player owned businesses could pay a fee to go public and list their company, and their stock price gets affected by earnings reports they file (which they can fake, giving the State something to investigate). All trading happens physically at terminals inside the stock exchange or at brokerage offices, no menus or HUD stuff (or you CAN use menus/HUD stuff), keeps it in the RP. Brokers would be a flagged role (class, flagged role, there are many ways to do this) that trades on behalf of clients for a commission (or just steals their money). Admins get simple commands to trigger crashes, booms, or scandals tied to server events. Every trade gets logged so insider trading and manipulation are possible but detectable, making them real RP crimes instead of blocked mechanics. Basically I don't want it to be entirely reliant on Google Docs or entirely reliant on game code. A balance should be struck, and can be!

I had previously been staff in 2020 with random servers that no longer exist, and became staff on Prometheus between 2021 and 2023, being short stents but ended due to real life circumstances each time. I have always favored nutscrpit over anything in GMOD, finding Darkrp boring and uneventful. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I believe I should be a member of the staff team because of my previous experience, and how much time I have put into this server. I have always debated with myself whether or not I want to be staff, to take that responsibility, and always squandered it because I was at the time a Trusted user. After the trusted rank was removed, I noticed a slow decline in the server late at night when staff is typically disposed/offline. I want to be helpful again to this community that I have invested so much of my time into, and seeing it grow as it has, and move towards a new genre (MITHC) I have never been more willing to participate and help where I can. During the time I have played throughout pre-covid, Covid, and Post-covid I have seen essentially everything you could possibly image, being Metagame servers/CoordinatedMRDM/MassVDM's/etc , and everytime I managed to do what I could to solve it by reporting/indirectly/directly solving the issue by the root. I essentially just want to help the most I possibly can, and due to how my schedule is setup I am absolutely available to meet a quota throughout the week. In addition to this, I understand that being staff comes with responsibility, patience, and consistency, especially during off-hours when issues are more likely to arise. I am comfortable stepping in to de-escalate situations, answer questions for newer players, and help maintain a fair environment for everyone involved. I care about the overall health and direction of the server and want to contribute to keeping it active, stable, and enjoyable for both long-term members and newcomers alike. [150 Words or more]: My responsibility will be overseeing and providing assistance to the users that play the server, attempting to ensure that any and all issues are resolved on a roof-top or on the ground through (LOOC), and ensuring a speedy fast process in ensuring promotions(Checked through cooldown log), uniform changes (done properly by a wardrobe), and adjustments to any NITRP names that appear. I'll be sure to look out for any sort of Metagame throughout the communities surrounding Prometheus and put an end and ensure that all have an equal opportunity to RP and rise through the ranks just as others have. I will ensure that not one player gets special treatment over the other, despite their rank being donator or a simple user, weird or normal, all will receive fair treatment and be punished if they break any rule w/ evidence and cause. Hello, I am Governor, the staff member who punished you and removed your flags for 1 week (now 6 days). This occurred because of your repeated violations of your privileges including prop perms, and from my understanding you have roughly 17 notes for this sort of behavior, such as FailRP and NITRP and most importantly prop abuse. I originally intended on notifying you of the issue and providing a note, however I reached out to Administrator Thomas who recommended you be banned and removed from your prop flags, as earlier that morning you had broken multiple rules. The punch wasn't necessarily a problem, and the apology is accepted. But quite frankly, I cannot recommend that your appeal is accepted.

Yeah so I definitely heard you do it. But 3 days is a bit much so we can just remove it since it's already been a while, it was just that you were interrupting a high importance event on a civilian character with a NITRP ban already.

Description of the idea: Introduce car bombs that allows players to plant explosive devices inside vehicles. These devices can be triggered via timer, remote detonation, or ignition-based activation. Why should this be added?: Fitting for the MHIC themes of covert violence, insurgencies and other themes that can mentioned, it's also another way to actually kill people without just blowing their head off because that's getting boring. It was also a popular tool in New York's 60's, which I assume where MIHC will be set in. What negatives could this have?: Risks of minging with it or overuse (which could be fixed limited to Admin/UA approval only) and performance impacts if poorly optimized. Additional information: Throw in tiers of damage levels, so one bomb can be used for sabotage only, while the other is made for assassinations. And throw in some defusal mechanics

In regards to these props, I hate seeing SANDBAGS in the CROWN DISTRICT. It doesnt make much sense that we are in an offensive state of the war and people spam sandbags in the reichstag.....

I miss stacker but people abuse it to crash the server I think thats why its disabled.

Neutral-ish I like the idea of resistance sabotage but then again this should be heavily monitored and approved by UA+ to prevent it from becoming too chaotic.

I like this idea and I think it can even be expanded to be just bombs in general that you can plant in cars, buildings, etc. To mitigate constant bombings just make it so its really expensive or hard to obtain. Maybe you have to obtain various components from the black market and then build it or something like that, not something someone can create by themselves or quickly.
