I am a very good speaker and people person. I am very active on the server and feel like I could offer a lot of support with the admins. I have taken on plenty of responsibility within the Feldjagers and have handled it with haste and accuracy, and feel that I am ready for more responsibility with joining the staff team. Also, I am very willing to learn new things. I am a quick learner and retain information fast. Also, I am very open to constructive criticism. If I create an issue or problem, I am very willing to hear about what I did wrong, and how to fix it. I can use this to help out with staff tickets. [150 Words or more]: First, a big duty of becoming a staff member is helping players during certain situations. When a player makes a ticket, they need the help as soon as possible. A huge responsibility is responding to a ticket as soon as possible. If a player needs someone PK’d or just quickly needs a promotion done, if I take too long on responding to the ticket the situation may be missed. Another duty of a staff member is observing overall out-of-character situations. We have to make sure everyone is roleplaying correctly as well as abiding by global rules.This situation also includes the chat. From experience, I have seen many rules broken in the chat whether that be metagame in the OOC or banned language in the general chat. I understand that this needs to be closely watched over and fixed immediately once the problem happens. Aside from just handing out bans or PK’s, there are certain situations that require more hands-on work. If you pull someone into a sit and they are making claims on someone during a complicated roleplay scenario, it takes more digging. You will have to check logs and clips to come up with a clear and concise answer to the accusation.

I was new to roleplay when I first started playing Prometheus. I could have prevented these actions if I had read the server rules when I first joined, along with remaining in character and not acting on OOC emotions. I do not have any staff experience in Garry’s Mod, but I have worked on a small Halo RP project that used the Nutscript Framework and the Sam admin system. My goal in applying for the staff team is to support the community by helping to efficiently manage tickets so that uninterrupted roleplay experiences can be offered. Because I am committed and have knowledge of the Nutscript framework, I believe I would be a fantastic addition to the team. These attributes, in my opinion, would be a welcome addition to the staff team overall as well as helpful to the community. I've read the rules and am usually familiar with them. When necessary, I am more than happy to enforce the rules—not just to punish players, but also to educate them and keep them generally aware of the rules. However, they are also responsible for ensuring that the roleplay is enjoyable and devoid of any unnecessary out-of-character concerns. In order to accomplish this, it is necessary to avoid making errors when enforcing the rules, such as banning the wrong person or banning someone without adequate evidence. The problem with the Trusted rank was the notable disconnect between Staff members giving promotions, and Trusted members giving promotions. For the most part, Trusted members did not abuse the privilege (as they were Trusted members of our community); however, there were many cases of Trusted members giving out promotions that violated our Character Promotion Guidelines. While they did not intentionally break these guidelines, they simply did not have all of the information/logs that our Staff members have access to (which are used to combat these situations).

a full server ban for that long for that? come on @Major Whoreson surely it wasnt that bad to incur this much wrath? ive known hans a very long time and he can be very stern with his duties but would never intentionally go out of his way to offend or cause an issue. he is a very active participent in the server, and has been working well alongside myself in the feldgendarmerie, and in my opinion is an asset to the company. i think if an impass due to a misunderstanding has been reached between you both perhaps it would be more amicable to apply some constructive criticism rather than an outright punishment.

+1 Would greatly increase the risk of doing it out of the blue. And would add a lot of drama to a deeply dramatic act, rather than it seeming like a quiet opening. Top stuff. Additionally, would be fun if we could bash (E+Left-Click) the door down with a primary arm but would allow civilians to do it and could be rather mingy.

-1 I like our current weapon packs, changing it would be a lot of work and would require lots of work in tweaking player damage.

+1 Should be implemented simply, not too gamey, not too manual. There are right ways and wrong ways. Here's my idea, I thought about it since I like this idea a lot and would make sense for New York City, the home of the NYSE, which may or may not still exist. Perhaps it does, under new management of course. I suspect the Germans would want to take advantage of American Capitalism rather than bring it down. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think this is a good way to do it: You'd have a bunch of NPC companies (Krupp Stahl, Reichsbahn, etc.) whose prices move on their own with some randomness so the market always feels alive, but when players buy or sell it actually pushes the price up or down. Player owned businesses could pay a fee to go public and list their company, and their stock price gets affected by earnings reports they file (which they can fake, giving the State something to investigate). All trading happens physically at terminals inside the stock exchange or at brokerage offices, no menus or HUD stuff (or you CAN use menus/HUD stuff), keeps it in the RP. Brokers would be a flagged role (class, flagged role, there are many ways to do this) that trades on behalf of clients for a commission (or just steals their money). Admins get simple commands to trigger crashes, booms, or scandals tied to server events. Every trade gets logged so insider trading and manipulation are possible but detectable, making them real RP crimes instead of blocked mechanics. Basically I don't want it to be entirely reliant on Google Docs or entirely reliant on game code. A balance should be struck, and can be!

This seems like something that would be too big to operate. A stock market implies that there would have to be multiple companies that exist simultaneously and are ready to compete. Sure, the stock market itself would influence people to begin making their own companies, but the server seems incapable of holding live businesses for more than a couple weeks (there are outliers to this).
