A player (a “marine”) attempted to restrain me, and I clearly warned them not to proceed. Despite that warning, they attempted to restrain me again. In response, I acted in what I believed was self-defense within the rules of the server. At no point was I brought to a formal sit or given a chance to properly explain my perspective before the ban was issued. From my understanding, I was still actively involved in the encounter and believed I was responding appropriately to an immediate threat rather than intentionally breaking roleplay rules. I followed orders from my superiors in the Kaiserguard to the letter. I stood my ground and defended myself. I had shot a Marine before as well, beforehand, after he had fired on another Kaiserguard, and there was no issue with that incident. On top of all this, when I was banned, I was in the middle of being arrested anyway, so the in-game system would have decided my fate, and I would have been able to defend myself since I wasn’t brought to a sit. I respect the server rules and staff decisions, and I’m not trying to argue against authority, only to clarify that I did not intend to break rules or disrupt roleplay. I would appreciate the opportunity to return and continue playing while following proper procedures more carefully moving forward. Additional Information: I'm off to college in 3 months, so this ban is effectively a permaban if it's not shortened or revoked.

I refused his request multiple times as he kept pushing me to shoot him. Another member of his branch then says, "I got his player ID." I then asked what this was about, as I was confused about the situation. They both then start to accuse and claim that I was the same guy from an earlier RP situation they had, who had LTAPed. An Admin was called, and I was brought along with the Stabsfeldwebel who called the admin into the SIT room. I am then further accused of being the "same" dude from earlier. The Stabsfeldwebel then provides his evidence through medal, which the admin also checks the logs along with reviewing the video, and says it's me, and the logs prove it. I get a little more flabbergasted about the situation because I am being accused of something I didn't do. I don't know how logs really work, and don't know if he looked at the right person's logs, if they do correlate to steam IDs. But the admin said that it's stated I just reconnected after 30 minutes, and I was previously zip tied. I was banned at around 9:00 pm PST. My last session on the server was at around 6-7:00 pm PST, which is before that LTAP situation even happened. Yes, you can change descriptions, but he had a base description with different heights and weights. The person in question's description was "A male stands before you at around 4'0 and weighing around 50 pounds. They have Bald hair and blue colored eyes." My description was "A man stands before you at around 5'8" wearing a Feldgrau bearing the rank of Stabsgefreiter. He has Brown hair and Brown colored eyes." The admin stated we sounded the same, which I can't help for obvious natural reasons and mic reasons. We had the same player model, which I also can't help. It's a video game with limited models. I don't know if this will help my case, but I am set to defend myself against something I didn't do, even if it's a 2-day ban.

I attmepted to get him to leave the discord servers and delete his in game characters as a joke, but I now realize that my behavior was immature and unacceptable. After reflecting on what happened, I understand that threatening someone by using their pictures is wrong and have serious consequences. And as a result of my actions, I've been permanently banned for violating Global Rule #9. This has taught me that rules are there for a reason and that breaking them lead to punishment. I take full responsibility for my actions and understand why the punishment was issued. This prema ban has also prevented me from enjoying the community and spending time with friends and other players. I have learned from this mistake and if given another chance , I would make sure to follow every single rule and treat others with the respect they deserve. Idk if anyone will listen to my opinion, but I support this appeal with a +1. Yeah, powergaming is a big no no, but its not the worst thing to get banned for. I have spoken with him and he regrets getting a player PKed through a forged signature. This kind of thing happens more often than you think on other servers, which is why its not the worst thing. He has had time to reflect on his mistake, so I believe that Vague should be given another chance to larp on here.

Here are a few tips: First, try to make a name for yourself within rp, start a business, network with others, and maybe develop an ideology for the group perhaps communism or socialism, since that would fit your background. You could also recruit some police officers, government employees, and military personnel to build your network. Don’t just go about it recklessly, however try to take smart, realistic steps, but try to stay under the radar, and maybe it’ll work out.

Trusted was by far the best and most time-efficient way to recruit into factions because it allowed leadership to get someone into a faction and then proceed to the training for said faction in less than a minute. While it could be abused, there could be measures to limit it, like getting people with trusted to log promos, etc. BRING BACK TRUSTED

I had people outside check, and they said that they can see us. I don't have prop perms on this server, so I didn't even place them. Also, multiple people were using them and I was singled out??? And also, me being ordered to shoot at people raiding our base is a no even though I was given orders to fire. Why should you be un-PK'd?: I believe this is unfair and that I was targeted for this. One key thing to remember when using Advanced Material, is that you have all our content installed by using '!content' in the chat when on the server. This makes sure all textures are installed in your Gmod files, so it allows you to access them for the Advanced Materials Tool. Under the Browse Materials section in the 'Q' menu; Browse Materials/Addons/3/xranger/(expand file) - [Walls, Floors] Browse Materials/Addons/3/typhon/rpberlin/propper/ - [Walls, Floors] Browse Materials/Addons/3/xranger/(click on file) - [Posters, Banners, Propaganda] These 3 file paths are basically all you need, they are my go-to and provide Prometheus Textures in the current map, as well as older Typhon textures which can be incorporated into builds.
