Because of this, I feel I can speak on this matter with understanding. Since you joined, I have supported you—so don't take this as me complaining about you, but because I genuinely appreciate your enthusiasm and willingness to learn. However, despite your ambition, your became a concern for the staff team. So I will tell you now as someone who wants to help, you need to think the following over with this report. What rule has Coffee broken, or in what way has he been unprofessional? Coffee did not abuse his administrative powers, and he did not act unprofessionally at any point. Actually, he remained respectful, repeatedly explained his reasoning, and gave you more time than many others would. Disagreeing with his decision is not, in itself, grounds for a report. If you wish to pursue this route, I must ask—on what basis are you challenging him beyond simply disliking the ruling (especially when you had literally stated in the sit that you had no issues with him and he always kept things objective)? Why did Coffee rule against you? Coffee did not, and would not, make his decision arbitrarily in favor of rule-breakers. You should know this and I ask that you try to consider his point of view, which he stated to you: His ruling aligns with Upper Administration, who have meet and decided to allows civilian greater flexibility with PKs to promote roleplay continuity. Killing should always be a last resort, even for civilians. In this particular instance, the mugger in question received a verbal warning rather than an immediate PK because they are new, and a permanent removal from the roleplay over one unfortunate event would be excessive and harmful to everyone who he could have roleplayed with. Why are staff becoming exasperated? We understand that players will encounter issues and seek staff assistance—that is our role and we are happy to fill it. But when every time a staff member logs in they are met with yet another ticket concerning you, and multiple staff members describe your behavior as overly persistent, clingy, or confrontational, it becomes a problem. You have admitted to mini-moding but this approach is not constructive for anyone. While making tickets is completely fine, excessive complaints, continuous direct messages to multiple staff members, and now public grievances in global OOC create unnecessary tension for all involved. The issue that led to your latest complaint was not even directly related to you either—you are advocating on behalf of someone who, notably, has not raised any concerns themselves. You speak as though reading the rules makes you a scholar on them, yet experienced staff who have worked under these same guidelines for years are telling you otherwise. It is frustrating for those who maintain professionalism while you appear unwilling to truly listen. What should you do? You are still new, and it is natural to believe you can grasp everything quickly. I understand that impulse personally, I really do. However, even after playing since 2022, I still encounter challenges with the rules, game mechanics, and roleplay dynamics. When I seek clarification, I respect that the person providing guidance has more experience and is not acting in bad faith, and so I listen. If I were in your position, I would take the following steps: Have a one-on-one conversation with Coffee. Ask him to explain the rules as they have functioned in the past, and truly listen—his experience is gold. File tickets when you need, but accept resolutions once they are given. If an issue remains unclear, seek mediation from another staff member, but only if professionalism or clarity is lacking. Engage with the roleplay beyond just grinding for money. You have focused almost entirely on drug profits rather than immersing yourself in your job, comrades, or the broader server dynamics. Roleplay as a real soldier stationed at a real military base for example— drugs are meant to serve roleplay, not replace it. Stay in your lane. If an issue directly affects you, make a ticket. Otherwise, refrain from using global OOC, voice chat, or direct messages as your first resort. I hope you take this to heart because I see great ambition in you, and I would hate for you to sabotage your own experience by fostering the belief that staff are against you. [150 Words or more]: A member of staff is especially the lower echelon might not be as important but definitely helps the server to not be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of tickets sent, as a Mod/admin you would deal with the day to day stuff regarding rule breaks and really any inconveniences that have been committed as staff you would with the absolute unbias to ensure that no rules by staff alone have been broken I as a staff member would ensure that all the server rules are to be adhered to and that no issues occur even if it means me dealing with the most miniscule of issues it is still my job to do for which I would do the the utmost unbias to work as efficiently as possible sticking to my mission as a staff member to ensure that the rules are followed, the player base put in check but to ensure they have their enjoyment of RP as this is what this server is created for and I would participate to the highest extent that a human being can do. Dude and real shit, I speak so highly of Coffee, val could probably corroborate that as well, sorry for the crash out, layhee was also correct in his presumption "I believe this is a compound issue from you being mugged repeatedly and losing money to the issue with the turbocharger not being properly working and now you're taking it out on the last person you interacted with." This was in large part due to me being mugged so often and even by the same people twice a day otherwise being mugged twice a day by randoms, along with the losses from the turbo charger, and the lawyer fee of 200k. I would like to add, that this situation that i got mugged in happened becasue i was trying to help a new player showing him the black market, telling him about different avenues in which he could go for his life in germany,etc., which is something that i consistently do aside from processing drugs and the small about of other RP. I plan on focusing less on the processing and more on RP. Not to get tooooooo personal, but im actually going through a really difficult time just in my personal life, divorce, family death, and new medications. So that is also why I was so pressed. To start with @mgce444I've been interacting with you and taking your sit very frequently in the past week and have come to interact with you a lot. I was also one of the staff members that had witnessed your sit with @Coffeein this interaction you reported. I'd like to go over a few things as I think I'm an unbiased 3rd party that can reiterate some points to you. Firstly, Why they weren't PK'd - There were several points of contempt as to why they were not PK'd. being you used OOC language while interacting in the IC environment VOIDing any PK' which is standard practice by the staff team. Something that was already explained to you was also the leniency that has been enacted on the civilian faction, if a civilian player gets killed after making a criminal action or breaks a PK guideline there may be some leniency given depending on the situation. Sometimes this is because of the duration of the interaction not being long enough or the actual RP not being clear enough for the players to discern a clear PK. You need to come to terms with the fact that the civilian faction shouldn't be held and is not being held to the same standards as a government faction, this is to encourage people to play as civilians and not immediately discourage them after making one mistake. There is a reason why when you are in a faction you are held to a higher standard in the government faction and this has been precisely outlined by the UA team that meets every week. Secondly, The Donation Issue - The Webster Dictionary definition of a donation is "a gift of money or its equivalent to a charity, humanitarian cause, or public institution" You need to reflect on what choice you made in giving your money to the server. There was no expectation of a return of value yet the Prometheus so graciously grants us extra privileges when we donate, these are not owed to us because we donated. We are not owed anything from the server for donation. It's as simple as understanding you are choosing to show a token of your appreciation and financially support what charity you are donating to. But when you come complaining about your regret about a "donation" it shows the shallow way you donated your money. It reflects poorly on you as someone who can be mature enough to not have a nasty expectation of how you perceive the world should operate. It reflects on you that you quickly bought into something where you aren't even willing to assimilate entirely with the system. Lastly, The Conclusion - Personal attacks will not be tolerated because you did not get your perceived correct outcome. @Coffeelike you said only minutes before filing this complaint is one of the fairest and patient staff members on the entire team. Working tirelessly every day (Including in the linked evidence) to explain professionally the rules and break down how to understand them and conjunctively apply them to RP situations. He took the time to explain the complete interworkings of how the situation did not condone a PK. You need to listen more closely to what he's saying instead of getting frustrated he's not saying what you want him too because it shows your not willing to assimilate or listen to staff ruling. I was very upset in the clips, if you knew the context it would likely make you more understanding of my frustration, I've generated over a million since joining in the past 9 or so days, and I currently have 100k. I get robbed by mugging/minge chars every single day, usually more than once a day. There's simply no way to avoid it because the rules are so much in muggers favor, they camp shipments, they door kick every door until they find you, they target you when they know that you grind, and this isn't mugging RP, it is imperial Germany RP. TLDR: minge chars getting a "verbal warning" and not even a "note" is ridiculous to me and shows a lack of respect for the rules and the server as a whole.
