If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?: Yes. A 2 day ban for LTARP at the end of December, 2025. I have my personal opinions on the situation; my honest answer is that I don't know what I could've done to prevent it in that instance. In the future, I can make sure I have a more thorough understanding of all global, community, and RP rules to reduce the chance of anything happening again. Staff Knowledge Section What previous experience do you have as a staff member either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode? I've been staff in a large Star Wars RP community before, and did the usual tasks of a lower-ranking staff member: whitelisting, setting models, changing names, resolving disputes, etc. I've also witnessed some complex scenarios(clusterfucks) requiring the involvement of the highest administration in communities. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I believe I should become a member of staff because this server actually means something to me; it's usually a good time, and when people are on, it's one of my more enjoyable hobbies. I want to do something to help others have an experience that has been as enjoyable as mine, and becoming a member of the staff team seems like a great way to accomplish that. I always abide by the rules set in place because they ensure that everyone has a fair and enjoyable experience on the server. I've been around for a while and have played this game a bit too much over the years. I've accumulated 13,000 hours, so I've seen many "interesting" scenarios go down across multiple servers, and I believe myself to be more than capable of enforcing the rules and ensuring members of the community have a good experience on Prometheus. I've interacted with the staff team a number of times and have been in a handful of sits; staff members have almost always been helpful, professional, and generally courteous. Having played 1942RP for ~5 years, and RP servers in general for ~7, combined with previous encounters with the staff team doing their jobs, and a bit of common sense, enables me to extend the same helpful treatment I've been given to others, and elevate the experiences of players in the community. Having an understandable voice of objective reason can really help when mediating disputes between players who are potentially heated after engaging in a scenario for extended periods of time. At the end of the day, we're all here to have fun and enjoy a little escape from reality. I just want to help keep the server running smoothly and make sure people enjoy their time here as much as I have. If given the opportunity, I’ll do my part to contribute positively to both the staff team and the community. What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: The main duties of staff members are responding to tickets for small tasks, such as name and model changes. In my mind, that makes up the bulk of staff work. The rest is making sits with players and dealing with infractions of the rules and mediating disputes that arise as a result of them being broken. Another aspect of staff is responding to tickets on your staff character promptly. Your staff character should take priority over your RP character, especially if tickets start to pile up. When players have to wait ages for someone to take their ticket, it reflects poorly on the staff team and Prometheus. Staff members should also conduct themselves in a manner that properly represents the values of Prometheus Networks. They should act in a way that’s respectful and unbiased towards players. Additionally, the staff team can be another resource for payers to use. New players can consult staff for clarification or further explanation of any rules, or just for advice on how something typically goes within the dynamics of the server. For a brand new player, everything on Prometheus can be overwhelming, and just standing around participating without understanding the deeper meaning of what's going on between the factions and politics that drive this server leaves out a major part of the experience we try to provide. hello my name is Lawson the staff member that ban you. first off i think its interesting that you cut out the part were you started by the bank and made it all the way to the back of the RS with out skipping a beat. secondly you were banned for two reasons. reason one general rule 34 on the server. secondly you were also ban for the most obvious hacks i have ever seen firstly when people Bhop they are not able to impute fast enough with there space bar so they use there scroll wheel and bind it to jump. this isn't a CSGO lobby don't Bhop through berlin 34. Blatantly ruining the roleplay atmosphere is considered FailRP (Bunny hopping, driving ridiculously modified vehicles, building ridiculous creations, etc.).

Are you claiming my past self is going to kick my current self's ass.. As a administrator for Prometheus Networks for years now, I think our team is absolutely wonderful, and if you have any concerns feel free to make a staff report on the forums. And any PKs are able to be contended with via the appeals process if you believe it was biased, unfair or not within the guidelines. What is not appreciated is the frankly childish attempt to advertise another server, if you wish to depart you do not need to announce it, this is not an airport.
