Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: My therapist said I needed a hobby, so I chose the worst one. Okay all jokes aside lol, the real reason I decided to write this application is because sometimes I like to help people, but it’s more about helping people in roleplay and continue to have that energetic, entertaining fun of conflicts, chaos, civil wars, all that shit. And I did have a thought of writing this application when I passed 1 week, but I was skeptical to even begin since I had to think it really hard, even after one of my friends suggested I make one, I never thought I could really fit in as a Staff Member, or hell a member of anything. And no, put aside the Mental Health struggles, and my behavioural issues, and my lack of dependence. It’s rather just how I have to put myself out there to at least try. Besides I believe in my heart that if you do ask for help and not let it get the bad stuff overburden you, it's bound to get way better, even if it all goes to shit. As my mom and dad always taught me, it’s not about being the best, or just attempting it, it’s about trying to do at least the bare minimum. And if I can’t then I can’t trust myself to continue doing it. I've always seen the most funniest things in life, especially in this community after playing for approx. 5 months. And one of them is having the most loving community I've seen in like years, like it's actually made me smile and made me feel more myself than ever. Even when shit hits the fan, I'm always there to help, even during peak hours, given it's been a large issue with so many people asking for tickets during peak hours. Which I must say, that's somehow been an even more pressing concern than just everything else that's been happening. What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: Likely Moderator to start small, but I'm also not sure what else to add here, but what I would say is that many Staff Members on Prometheus likely have High RP Jobs(like NHC) that are unfortunately too busy dealing with...well RP rather than taking tickets And I'm sure many applicants have written before that they likely don't have important RP stuff, and there are people out there who do a good job at taking tickets during peak hours, even non-peak hours if they're bored. True, Religion RP is a very risky double edged sword. Cause Religion + Gaming is mostly either verrrrrry sarcastic or as a message of criticism against it for the sake of offense. Even if it's just Christianity, these models would probably only serve a purpose of just being...a priest or bishop without holding real power. Plus because it doesnt serve purpose, because it's religionRP, and doesn't go well to politics RP, it remains dicey as always.

Description of the idea: Playermodels used by Priests(Fathers), the robes and colours match the aesthetic of it, and it comes with all male_01-10 models. Why should this be added?: Religious RP is a double edged sword, but for the one side where it's good, I have a character, Helmut Muntz, who is the Bishop of Württemberg and a Priest, head of the Church of St. Boniface. Since then my only model for use is a male_10 suit with a winter coat, all black with a grey-white tie to look like a collar of which traditional priests wear, which doesn't really fit the "Church Aesthetic" or legitimacy of sorts. The use of these models would be easier to differentiate between citizens and Priests and those who practice faith. What negatives could this have?: That one is the other part of the sword in which this could go south FAST. You see Verlax(who is Luka Sommer) sent me a message explaining why in practice Religion RP is like, mega cancer and will literally ruin the fun. A copy-paste he has here is long: 1) It always ends up becoming sacrilegious and offensive to other faiths. 2) Religious RP hinders Political RP. The Party serves as that fanatic political ideology. If you add religion, both can't co-exist on the server and disputes with the Church will remove RP with the Party, because the Church is not supposed to be having drama, they are meant to glorify Christ. It starts to tie into point 1 because they become heretical by abusing the name of Christ for dumb RP. 3) Other players will attempt to play their characters as other religions (i.e. Muslim, Jewish, Hindu) and they always try to make it their whole identity. You can't "ban" other religions in RP, and it starts to blur the lines in Gmod (next point will explain) 4) Garry's Mod rules are strict about discrimination, so anyone can come up with a clip and say "These guys are bigoted and actively ban my religion." It becomes another headache that's not needed because of RP. That's also why there's no Slave RP (i.e. prisoners are forced into labor in the mines on the server). Just a lot of red tape and not needed because the whole point of the server is political RP. 5) In the past when Garry's Mod permitted historical 1942 RP, and when Prometheus popped off after the death of Typhon, the Ministry of Church Affairs was the most useless ministry and their message of Positive Christianity (the pseudo-religion where Hitler removed all references of Christ being Jewish) was often blurred with Catholism (which wasn't even accurate). What each Church Minister did was give away useless baptism medals and pipped up about rooting out Jews and other religions. When Whoreson started Promethues, he strived to transition the 1942 community away from it's checkered past, and he succeeded in his vision, which started by banning that ministry, even before the great transition. Religous RP was cringe, dumb, and overall any church ministry took away manpower and time from more relevant RP. Basically his concern TLDR was that People would use Religion RP to use their religion as a justification to be a genuine dumbass, and that any action taken against it would be discrimination cause...it's Religion. And I can't disagree with Verlax on that, I really can't. But this isn't something for like, an exclusive 1 thing for 1 character. Because the Archbishop, who oversees church properties and all that stuff can just make up certain laws and ideas to weed out any dumbasses. And I went to many people about this, however the best advice I was possibly given was by Riuzake who said that the best option would be Being a tool of the state, and with that, the fear of Religious RP going to insanity will lower. Again, Religious RP is a double edged sword. People like roleplaying to spread the word of God, it just gets to a point where someone can abuse that to be a complete dumbass, believe me as someone whose gone to Church with my father,(who was a former jesuit) Catholic pre-school and now Catholic School, there will be bound to see people mocking other religions, or making it their whole personality. But, if you're still that hesitant, at least take the advise that my Father gave me a verse. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction."
