+1 I’ve known this dude for a long time, and I can confidently say he is honest and trustworthy. He is a genuinely good person and has strong potential for meaningful RP on the server. From the bottom of my heart, I believe he deserves another chance, whether that means a full unban or at least a reduced ban rather than a permanent one. Roleplay within the Sharpshooters would be so much worse without him. I believe he has great potential within the server. I hope staff can forgive him.

I only made another character to have some fun on it that I couldn't usually do on my main, because I would get gagged. I got banned on my alt for 1 day for GR1 and NITRP. Additional Information: I also went over the rules and there were no mentions of using alt accounts could result in a perma ban. I just want to keep playing on this server as I enjoy it dearly, and I hold it near to my heart. I've made a lot of friends on Prometheus, and I bet at least one person will vouch for me. Please find it in your heart to unban me. Summer break has just started for me and I planned on playing all day every day. Just please, I am LITERALLY on the verge of tears writing this.

I have my personal opinions on the situation; my honest answer is that I don't know what I could've done to prevent it in that instance. I've been staff in a large Star Wars RP community before, and did the usual tasks of a lower-ranking staff member: whitelisting, setting models, changing names, resolving disputes, etc. I've also witnessed some complex scenarios(clusterfucks) requiring the involvement of the highest administration in communities. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I believe I should become a member of staff because this server actually means something to me; it's usually a good time, and when people are on, it's one of my more enjoyable hobbies. I want to do something to help others have an experience that has been as enjoyable as mine, and becoming a member of the staff team seems like a great way to accomplish that. I always abide by the rules set in place because they ensure that everyone has a fair and enjoyable experience on the server. I've been around for a while and have played this game a bit too much over the years. I've accumulated 13,000 hours, so I've seen many "interesting" scenarios go down across multiple servers, and I believe myself to be more than capable of enforcing the rules and ensuring members of the community have a good experience on Prometheus. I've interacted with the staff team a number of times and have been in a handful of sits; staff members have almost always been helpful, professional, and generally courteous. [150 Words or more]: The main duties of staff members are responding to tickets for small tasks, such as name and model changes. In my mind, that makes up the bulk of staff work. The rest is making sits with players and dealing with infractions of the rules and mediating disputes that arise as a result of them being broken. Another aspect of staff is responding to tickets on your staff character promptly. Your staff character should take priority over your RP character, especially if tickets start to pile up. When players have to wait ages for someone to take their ticket, it reflects poorly on the staff team and Prometheus. Staff members should also conduct themselves in a manner that properly represents the values of Prometheus Networks. They should act in a way that’s respectful and unbiased towards players. Additionally, the staff team can be another resource for payers to use. New players can consult staff for clarification or further explanation of any rules, or just for advice on how something typically goes within the dynamics of the server. For a brand new player, everything on Prometheus can be overwhelming, and just standing around participating without understanding the deeper meaning of what's going on between the factions and politics that drive this server leaves out a major part of the experience we try to provide. -1 tons of bans, I get you have this character, but sometimes you do to much, and a staff member that only says beast mode doesnt seem very helpful.

The logs would have also shown their sharpshooter killing me before, which initiated this entire misunderstanding.

To clarify, I killed one other person besides that one guy because I heard him unholster his weapon, and he ran around the corner while I was waiting for the other guy so I got startled and thought it was the one who was killing me before, my mouse might've moved or something but I remember going behind a statue in the main BB office up the stairs and leaving to shower. I had no idea he was going to report me; I thought I was playing along, and if I'd known he was going to do so, I would've stayed for the sit. I apologize for making you wait that long, but I still feel like I was misled by him, and he got the better of me.

(looking over you), you was active, while in sit room you went inactive... with nothing to say or type, I waited a good 10-15 minutes for you to return and there was nothing. you also have a previous recent note for RDM. Picture this: you are playing on this usually populated server while it is empty and devoid of activity besides three other military members. What do you decide to do? Well, of course, you decide to stick with them to find some entertainment while you wait for the server to gain traction again. They ask you if you want to try out for their sharpshooting sub-division of some sort, so you do so, and they say you are not up to their standards. Well, you say okay and go about your day, walking around doing nothing, finally, something happens! Two/one of those three shoots at me and kills me, including their own sharpshooter buddy! Fancy meeting you here, other sharpshooter. Wait, why are you punching me? I guess we can have a punch-out. You win and walk around until you walk into the vicinity of the BB, and you get shot and killed again. Well, they must be confusing me for someone else. You proceed to purchase yourself a new FG LMG to have some fun with this newfound opposition, and what do you know, you're pretty good at close-quarters combat, so you manage to get two of them without much of a struggle. After this firefight, you decide to go afk to take a shower after having some entertainment in an attempt to fast-track the waiting period for the population to increase. Apparently, they didn't like it when you did the shooting, so they most likely reported you to the admin, and you are afk and unable to defend yourself. When you put yourself into my shoes, do you feel as if you've been wronged? Well, you probably do, and so do I. I just wanted a chance to explain myself and reason with another like-minded individual. Additional Information: I am not much of a rulebreaker. I have only had like two other notes in the past because I followed the orders of my superiors and was told after doing so that it was RDM. I was also told by my luftwaffe officer that if I was active for today tomorrow I would get the chance to be awarded something in a ceremony, that award if it were to be awarded to me, would be my first commendation/medal I would ever recieve on this server after playing for so long, I just feel really bummed out and I wish It hadn't played out like this because I thought I had really found me some friends in the military besides my luftwaffe buddies. They were also pretty friendly to me and joking around, so I didn't expect them to turn around and do that to me, even though I hadn't caused much of a disturbance. This may not be entirely accurate since I took a hot shower and lowkey forgot the specifics, but this should be fairly accurate, and I apologize if by making you read this I wasted your time.

Yes I understand that this is an apology, and I dont want it to turn into a dispute. I'm just saying i'm telling the complete truth and would've never wanted this to happen in the first place. I am being genuine when I say i'm sorry. Another thing is that I have had this past issue where I click F8 whenever arrested, because it is the button to allow you to be searched. And i've always rejoined and told the person thats arresting me that was on accident. And I am true when I say I don't like breaking server rules, they are there for a reason.

I think you need to remember that this is an Apology, NOT a Dispute. I highly suggest you are honest and tell the truth before this is reviewed by Major Whoreson. We wait when the user Times Out, our logs show you intentionally Disconnected. Very convenient that after you are tied up, you decide to just 'click buttons on your keyboard'.

Also I never got a chance to message the admin after immediately getting banned. It states in the LTAP rule that some admins may wait of 5-10 minutes, I would've liked it if the 5-10 minutes had happened so the situation wouldn't have escalated to this. I just feel I have been wrongly Perma-Banned.

Cause as I said, I panicked, jumped around, and just started clicking stuff. It does make sense that the fact that I didn't have both my hands on the keys WASD and they were hovering over the upper layer in that moment. It also wouldn't make sense that I spent money on this server, play on it every day, just to get banned over leaving. I can assure you with everything that I have I wouldn't try to get myself banned for the most stupid reason that there is. And that what I did was a honest accident.
